Kitchen Nearing Completion

Well things are certainly moving on at pace. One side of the kitchen is nearly completed, the units are in and the bricks have been put inbetween, the wall lights are up and the ceiling light and fan should go in tomorrow.The cooker is also in place as are my kitchen applicance. The unit has been prepared for the sink and the plumbing checked. Today the work top tiles have been fixed and they will be grouted tomorrow.

Cannot finish the other run of units as the drawer packs were not complete when we opened them so we have to return to Murcia to collect them before we can finish. The windows and the shutters have had yet another coat of stain and will be varnished soon and glazed. The grilles are finished and will be delivered any day now so that we can finish rendering the outside.

I have already christened my new oven and I have to say it is wonderful to be able to cook two large roasting tins of food side by side in the oven and still have room for another to shelves, my idea of heaven. More I hope tomorrow.
